BeaTunes - анализирует музыкальные композиции, определяя их темп и стиль. С ней можно автоматически создавать новые плейлисты, основанные на полученной информации. К сожалению, программа не может обрабатывать музыкальные треки, защищенные средствами охраны цифровых авторских прав (DRM). Со всеми другими файлами (например, скопированными с компакт-диска) beaTunes позволяет производить такие действия: автоматически определять темп композиции и сохранять информацию об этом в iTunes; сортировать имеющиеся плей-листы, добиваясь наиболее благозвучных переходов между композициями; создавать плейлисты, основанные на одной или нескольких композициях; просматривать музыкальную библиотеку для поиска файлов, совместимых с выбранной композицией; автоматически определять время начала и окончания композиции, основываясь на громкости.

To avoid disappointment: Due to the very nature of digital rights management systems (DRM) like FairPlay, beaTunes cannot analyze files protected by these systems. Note that most products bought from iTunes Music Store™ fall into this category. The exception are iTunes Plus songs.
